5 CENT CHALLENGE CENT CHALLENGE
CHALLENGE :  EACH CLASS TO FILL THEIR
BOTTLE WITH AS MANY 5 CENT COINS AS
 
POSSIBLE. (5 CENT COINS ONLY PLEASE)
 
 
COLLECTION: Each bottle will be collected on the last week of Term 3
 
REWARD: THERE WILL BE A PRIZE FOR EACH JUNIOR &
SENIOR CLASS WITH THE MOST AMOUNT OF COINS COLLECTED!

Free Dress Day
It was great to see everyone dress up for our Free Dress Day.  Thank you for your great efforts.
 
 
5 Cent Challenge
Each class has been given a bottle to collect 5 cent coins. The challenge is to fill it with as many 5 cent coins as possible until the last week of Term 3. The Junior and Senior class who collects the most coins will receive a prize.  All details provided above.
 
 
Skate Night
We are having a Skate Night at Bundamba Skateaway on Wednesday 19 August, 6-8pm. Cost will be $10 each including entry & skate hire ($4 extra for rollerblades). We need a minimum of 60 to hold the event so bookings are essential.  Booking forms have been sent home and will need to be returned to the Orange box at the office tomorrow, Friday 31 July if you want to attend.  Please do not send any money with this form.
 
 
Father’s Day Stall
The Fathers Day Stall will be held on Wednesday 2 September and Thursday 3 September in U Block.  Gifts will be available for our students to purchase in price ranges from $1-$5.
 
 
Spring Fair
We will be having our annual “SPRING FAIR” on Saturday 24 October 8am-2pm in the Charles Kinne Hall.  We are currently looking for anyone wishing to help out with the fair.  Bookings for stall sites are available now. Disco
Term 3 Disco is on Thursday 10 September from 5-7pm in the Charles Kinne Hall. This disco will be a Rainbow Colours theme. The cost of the Disco is $4 per student for our school students from Prep to Year 6.  This includes entry and a lucky door ticket.
 
*In order for the disco to run smoothly, we require Parents or Caregivers over the age of 18 to assist with supervision for the night. Any volunteers wishing to help out at the school disco can contact me on 0434007521 or see me on the night. We are also looking for donations for raffle and lucky door prizes for our Disco, any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
 
Next Meeting
Our next Parent Group meeting is on Tuesday 25 August in U Block 2-3pm.  New members are always welcome, refreshments are also provided.
